4.0 excellent | sooshishef | April 2nd 12 | These guys are certainly doing something different. In an age where the mixture of synth
and metal is becoming more prominent TCHTS knows how to mix both together almost
seamlessly. Solid guitar work that strives to mix in multiple breakdowns throught their songs
is easily and flawlessly coupled with synthesizers for a fairly unique experience. What the Big
People Do is a prime example of their talent, combining these two elements and together for
a combination that I've rarely heard in other groups. If they can keep this up with fresh
music each time and little deviation from their style they will certainly be able to surpass
many others like them.

0.0 | | March 30th 12 | Fast paced instrumentation, good screams, and solid electronic influences juxtaposed with tight song structures, The Captain Hates The Sea jumps on the synthesizer rush that most of the bands in the genre have been in, however they add their own style to it and that's what differentiates it from other similar bands in the genre.
