This album sits as it's own little monster in the Eels discography. it followed up the rollercoaster that was electro-shock blues and the hard rocking Souljacker came after. This is a nice little album that's carried by much brighter songs with some gut punches stuck in the middle. All of the songs are strong, the only one that really falls flat is the instrumental "Estate Sale".

This is a very light-hearted album (as far as eels go), but that's not to say it doesnt have emotional depth... For years and years this was my favourite album ever, but then i heard Electro-shock Blues. They are both definitely worth a peek.
