0.0 | silentpotato | April 18th 12 | yes anytime a new post metal band forms they are immediately deemed an isis, neurosis, or col rip-off depending on their orientation. But truly, with Signals from the Void, Huldra sounds more like ISIS than even ISIS has since releasing Panopticon

4.0 excellent | TRMshadow | January 12th 13 | Call it imitation, an homage to the original, or downright theft; Huldra sound hauntingly similar to the Panopticon/Oceanic era Isis that we constantly have wet dreams about. Nothing new, but what they have done they've done perfectly. 4.0/5

0.0 | CaptainDooRight | October 25th 12 | With similar musical ties to Isis, Neurosis, and Russian Circles, Huldra still maintains a fresh feel to their approach. With mellow-darkened moods they progress well using piano build-up harmonies and crusty guitars that suck you in. There are even ambient-droning synths that serve as a backdrop to their post approach; adding greater variability. Their sense of proper dynamics is what really carries Signals. The sophisticated moods are a true delight. I have high hopes for what they might do in the future. Strong post-rock rec here seons.
