Upon first listen, I completely disliked Nelson's music project known as "Perfect Lines" when compared to his former band, My Heart to Joy. Despite this, after a few listens, I was able to really enjoy the songs on the extended play, with Nelson's enhanced vocal style from "Reasons to Be" being carried over in conjunction with tremendous guitars, keyboard, and synth.
