Smooth, dreamy, and at times beautiful, Black Swan is an excellent indie rock release that's held back only by its habit of sounding just a little too tame throughout.

It's a return to form. Though smooth, there is something vaguely unexciting about it which prevents me from giving it a 3.5. Still, the songs do deliver a certain level of satisfaction. The lack of a killer single probably doomed this.
