Review Summary: If you hate them, stay away from this. If you haven't heard them, listen at your own risk.

Blood on the Dance Floor at the time that I Scream I Scream - EP was released was the double act Dahvie Vanity and Garett Ecstasy. If you know Blood on the Dance Floor's sound, then you will know what to expect when listening to this, so listen at your own risk. I will not be held responsible for any hearing loss or, worst case scenario, excessive vomiting.

Now, I will say, you can hear a very, VERY slim improvement from other releases before I Scream I Scream - EP like the LP 'It's Hard to Be a Diamond in a Rhinestone World'. Though the quality of the computer generated beats and their obscenely horrible lyrics on 'Scream for my Ice Cream' absolutely did not increase, the other songs still held promise for BOTDF. 'Siq with a Q' had a certain beat in the beginning that had a subtle swing to it, yet was ruined by Dahvie's awful voice spilling lyrics like "I'm so sick, I'll make you vomit. Go ahead and leave your comments." The second beat comes up after the first chorus, if you would even call it that, and then a second type of beat comes out, which was completely identical to Deadmau5's 'Hey Baby'. Not only do they shout out to their haters, they lack originality. Absolutely stunning.

Then, the best release on this EP, 'Up All Night!', comes on. This has the computer beats yet again, but this time, the lyrics aren't about licking cum up after who they just ***ed and addressing to the haters that they don't give a *** what they say. It's about a party. No deep meaning, just having fun all night. Plain and simple. The song is catchy, and it did catch my attention when listening.

Then, the duo got me again with 'Miss Bipolar (Love Fight)', with the guest singer Lolli Dolli helping Blood on the Dance Floor by getting both the guy's and girl's perspective on a fight between a couple. The song was interesting for a little with the best lyrics on the EP, but then the repetitive four chords that the guitar kept playing in the background without any change whatsoever just got on my nerves, so I skipped to the next song.

Big mistake. 'Suicide Club' is the next and last song, and you notice that BOTDF goes back to their terrible style. Though the beginning beat gets interesting, this song is complete crap with their abysmal lyrics. Just when you think the song is over, though, you hear the lyrics 'Harder, harder, harder, on my bed', and it leaves you with the thought that these guys just don't know when to shut up. It's worse enough that they come out with the song, but then they trick you by letting you hear a moment of silence, thinking it's over, but then it starts right back up, making you groan in boredom.

When Blood on the Dance Floor is brought up in a discussion, you have the die hard fans and you have the people that despise them with a passion. Pick a side.

Yeah, well, whatever. Just felt like reviewing since the other review that was on here was extremely biased and didn't even actually review the EP itself. :P

Well, whether you'll like them or not just depends on their music taste. These guys have definitely improved ever since I Scream I Scream EP. On their new EP, Anthem of the Outcast, though, they changed to a metalcore-ish genre. Not sure if it is permanent or not, but it is a better sound for them than this EP.
