Review Summary: Lil B improves, and benefits from strong sampling. Some bad flow drags this album down.

At first Lil B was nothing but a Soulja Boy clone but with more autotune and misogyny, maybe it was a joke, or it wasn't. Either way, he's changed for the better. While still struggling to even make sense in some tracks(like Open Thunder Eternal Slumber and Neva Stop Me), he makes up for it with strong messages in his songs. Sadly his flow is still not strong, but just about every track is worth listening to.

1.Trapped in Prison - The beat is good, the sample for this rap is well-chosen, and this one of the few songs where Lil B has favorable flow. He raps about his friends and the best people being put in jail and using poverty as a scapegoat, which is understandable. One of the best tracks on this album. 3.5/5

2.Open Thunder Eternal Slumber - Like most of Lil B's songs, the beat is nice, unfortunately this rap sounds like one of his old, really bad freestyles. He drifts off several times, and it's hard to find a meaning to this song. It's borderline annoying, and not a pleasant song at all. 1.5/5

3.Game - A good example of Lil B's main weaknesses, his flow and struggle to keep on one topic. There's a lot of potential A great chorus, but this song isn't extraordinary, there's no WOW factor in it. 2/5

4.Unchain Me - A braggy sort of song, with a bad delivery of admirable lyrics. Nothing big in this song. 2.5/5

5.Neva Stop Me - Lil B fails to do anything with a great sample, no flow, lyrics are bad. The worst song on this album. 0.5/5

6.Gon Be Okay - Lil B does fine work with a fantastic sample. Shows a caring side with a decent enough flow to get by. Brags a little bit about his fame, but still incorporates it into the meaning of this song. A depressing instrumental with a beat that is on par with other rappers. The only bad part of this rap is that it's short. 4/5

7.The Wilderness - Almost a speech about poverty, combined with boasting about his fame. Once again Lil B's strong sampling saves this song from being boring, but provides no strong points. 2.5/5

8.I Hate Myself - The Goo Goo Dolls hit "Iris" is edited and sampled in this song, improving this song greatly. Another one of the few songs with strong flow, strong lyrics, and a fantastic, exciting beat. There's some actual emotion in this song, with an uplifting ending. The best song on this album. 4.5/5

9.Get It While It's Good - An attempt at a feel good song, but Lil B shows his fatal flaw again, which is drifting off topic, and the song seems to turn into a Lil Wayne song without autotune. Average song, there's nothing notable. 2.5/5

10.I Seen That Light - Lil B shows good flow without trying too hard. Another neat sample with laid back lyrics. A step in the right direction in terms of improving his flow. This is what Lil B should try more to sound like. 3/5

11.My Last Chance - Lil B raps about poverty and struggles once again, but with a different approach. He finally respects women and people as a whole. Like in "I Seen That Light", Lil B's flow is very strong, and is exactly what he should strive for. 3.5/5

12.1 Time(Remix) - This song shouldn't even be on the album. Not worth your time, it's just flat out bad. 1/5

Pros:
Improved flow and lyrics
Great sampling
Interesting beats

Cons:
Some songs get boring
Although his flow is improved, it's still not great.

It's his first review so it's not a huge issue

But yeah, you should look at being able to integrate your thoughts regarding the tracks into a more cohesive write-up. It's a hip hop album, so you don't need to tell me how good his flow is on tracks 4,7 & 9. Take a few of the tracks and expand on your thoughts on them; separate these ideas into paragraphs. Talk about what works, then in the next paragraph explain what doesn't etc. Use the tracks as examples to prove your point

This album completely shocked me, wow. I Hate Myself is about as powerful as the first time I heard "The Message" by Grandmaster Flash.

Gon Be Okay is embarassing in that Lil B tries to flow exactly like Kanye throughout the whole first verse
