1.5/5 1908-1931. One of the few cases in classical where I feel that the recording is affecting the way I see the music. Webern, upon reflection, seems like he was almost toying with the late-19th century's hyper-romanticism in the same way Mahler was. Which I far prefer to whatever the hell Boulez saw and I had to hear.
