The only 'experiment' of The Color Spectrum that succeeds with flying colors. Slightly psychedelic, incredibly heartfelt, and astounding musicianship make this a contender with Violet for my favorite EP.

Green = grass pokemon = folk innit? So Green indeed is an indie folk, and gotta say it's quite lovely. I appreciate it more than the energetic Black and the post-rocky Blue.

There's a natural beauty and organic feel to the Green EP as Casey goes for an acoustic and folk-based sound here. The inclusion of mandolin, violins, the harmonica, etc. make for a mellow, earthy sound fit to play while exploring the woods.

Probably the most docile of the "Color Spectrum", really more alt/indie than alt-prog. As long as you aren't expecting the standard Dear Hunter, this an extremely enjoyable EP, the perfect slow bit to give you a rest if you're trying to marathon the collection. 3.8/5

It's heartfelt, its got a little country influence (and its not gay!), it's got some of Casey's best melodies and it's one of the most enjoyable EP's on the album. I don'rt really like "Crow and Cackle" but everything else it really really excellent.
