The album starts off with the song Alcohol and Bandages, as soon as this song starts you know what to expect from JamisonParker. The soft-spoken vocals, lyrics involving sleeping and the pains and joys of love. When the chorus comes around, distorted guitars are usually thrown into the mix and vocals are thrown into the background.

With what has already been said, it's enough to turn most people off. You can easily compare this band to Copeland. Not the music but how everything is received. Most people won't like this because it's too cliche and many of the songs sound exacly the same. If you can look past this, however, you'll find a solid, depressing album.

The only thing that I found bad about this album, aside from how the songs sound similar, is the fact that the songs near the middle of the album are a little weak. Songs like Paper, Rock, Scissors that start off with nothing but an acoustic guitar and really annoying vocals, just ruin the song. The song however, does improve when it gets to the chorus but the verse comes back and just ruins it.

The album finished on the five minute ten second song titled I Should Mean More, which starts off very slow with almost whispered vocals. The lyrics are amazing and connected perfectly with me during the time when I first bought this album last year. Near the chorus, vocals are shouted in the background and gives the song some variation and keeps it interesting.

To me, this album deserves a 3.5/5. I wish that I would be able to give it more. This album is a classic to me but to be honest, it's really not that amazing, it just connects a lot with me. If you listen to this album while you're going to sleep, it just tears into you. Jamison's vocals are so soft that it often sounds like someone is whispering and everything in the songs sound very dream-like and I'm sure that was what they were trying to accomplish.

I'm hoping that this isn't too long for a blurb. Should it of just been a full review, of course, if I added a little more.
