The even balance between breakdowns and electronics as displayed in The Browning's self titled album is utterly predictable and brings nothing new to the table as it has been done by multiple bands before. Repetitive song structures bring the album down even further, but it is saved due to the fact that a considerable portion of the breakdowns are executed with enough flair to be enjoyable. However this doesn't save the album from its mediocrity.
