I don't think it's a coincidence that the only song recorded at a different studio (the closer) is far and away the best song here. It's like a different band walked through those doors. The other seven waste away their potential doing some sort of a stream-of-consciousness act.

The riffs are huge, loud, and incredibly groovy, and the lyrics couldn't be more quintessential stoner rock. This album is a monster. It kicks so much ass it hurts. Listen if you like Kyuss or banging your head...

Just got into these guys at the same time as Wo Fat. Lo-Pan... Wo Fat... sounds like I'm ordering at a Chinese restaurant! Killer sound though, picked up this and the Salvador album.
