This is far above that other album, especially how the songs are structured. 9 of 11 songs
have less than 3 choruses. Reborn was bad in that department. The cover is pointless, I don't understand why they had to choose the most famous Joy Division song. I would have taken Komakino, Novelty or something from Closer.
However, I also like the atmosphere on this album here.
There's nothing original on this one but I guess it's not an easy task finding a
futurepop album that tried something new especially back in 2010. 2007 was the last strong year for futurepop and dark electro / aggrotech song structure-wise.

Spirit simply comes off as a poor man's Reborn. While Reborn was a great album, Culture Kultur's routine is not going to suffice and instead you are treated with 11 songs that are either boring as hell or have been done a million times before. A true disappointment considering the shining past of this futurepop act.
