One of the most underrated and eventually better albums in Van Morrison's vast catalog. Poetic Champions Compose oozes of maturity and quality. Van Morrison through the years has reinvented himself by adding more celtic influences and instruments, and even though Poetic Champions Compose sounds different than his earlier material, it is still based on the same emotional foundations.
