Initially released as a seven-inch EP alongside the first pressings of From Enslavement To Obliteration, The Curse offers a nice, brief look into what that record is all about. The sludge-influenced title-track is bereft of vocals, but not of tension, which is ultimately released when the four straight grind blasts come rocketing from the speakers. It's a bit inconsequential in the grand scheme of things for the band, but that doesn't change the notion that this is still a solid, enjoyable grind EP, all in just five minutes.
