The first half, nay, the first three quarters of this album is God awful; our female vocalist really can't sing at all, and it really sounds like she is struggling throughout the entire album to keep a tune. Sure, this may be a good effect at times, but this is synthpop we're talking here; music meant to sound beautiful. The backing music is just as bad, nothing really you can hold onto and it just passes you buy. It isn't until the last 4 songs where songs actually start sounding like synthpop, meaning that there is actually some relatively upbeat music with fairly tuneful vocals. But sadly, this is not enough; and even though these tracks themselves are not that great, they will probably go un-listened either way since you'll want to turn this off 3 songs in.
