0.0 | Super Grover | June 1st 10 | If I said this was your run-of-the-mill electro/indie/pop album, you'd probably know what Fantasurreal sounded like before you even listened. But that's not all there is here (although it's admittedly the base and a bit more than that)--- Gary Levitt's fourth album definitely has a professional spin, the array of instruments and sounds he utilizes is certainly intriguing, and Setting Sun has a tendency to be really fucking weird (check the video for "Driving"). But alas, these moments are few and far between and Fantasurreal ultimately struggles from its inability to avoid the gray area between cliche and simply uninteresting.
