Now, this sounds like the early WitTR records. Therefore, I'm loving this.

this is definitely a step down from their last metal offering but i still think it's good. the ambient doesn't really serve it very well whereas their last metal offering was really well balanced and intentional with its more atmospheric sections - there's really no reason this should have 10 minutes of samey ambient at the end.

Unfortunately missing the unhinged ghastly experimentations of their last full length
metal album, but still a very enjoyable listen.

There's been worse weird ambient outro excursions in black metal (thinking of Spectral Lore). The closing ambience here feels like a very gentle goodbye for an otherwise furious and succinct blackgaze record. Great riffs and melodies throughout.
