I actually Bought a Copy of This from Reverbnation , My friend Dan told me I should listen to them because I was sucj a brit pop fan, these NY boys nail it solid. every song is catchy & has lots of ear candy I love "Let me be the one" and I look foward to thier full album which I have heard is going to be named "Pizza Train" I also was very Lucky to get a copy of The ep with 4 extra bonus cover songs Hidden on the cd. A cover of Brand new Cadillac (a Old Clash tune from the London Calling album)
Killing an arab (an Old Cure song) Take Me I'm yours (A subdued take on the jumpy & jagged Squeeze tune) & lastly I'm in love with a girl (Big star cover) with the recient Death of Alex Chilton of Big Star hearing a band cover him sent chills up my spine I have heard that other versions of this ep have as many as 7 bonus cuts I wish I had gotten the one with the 7 because these 4 bonus tracks are amazing

This Ep By Local Queens Rockers Is a Plesant trip through the world of Power pop. The ep opens with the Track I'd a driving Guitar driven rocker in the Vein of The Posies, Marc Fox Handles Lead vocal dutis on this song it has an catchy hooky chorus it is a solid opening cut, it is followed by a Fab piece of Beatlesque Power Pop "Let me be The One" is a tasty Lennonesque circa 1964 tune with a great big Chorus & great Harmonies. a certain radio freindly fan Fave to be sure. "Nothing Comes Around" another trip through Beatles Flavored Pop rock More suble in it's approach and the spanish styled guitar solo harkens to George Harrisons Solo in "and I Love Her" a must for Beatle Heads who wish the Fabs had made more albums this is a nice wish list for Beatles fans. closing out the set is a trippy dark tune called "Beneath my wicked Sky" a dark harrowing trip through Psycodelicatessen acid & shroom flavored pop rock. some versions of this ep featured hidden bonus tracks these tracks vary from version to version as the band had made it available through reverbnation & could add & subtract bonus cuts at whim making copies collectible. so enjoy & be sure to check out the bands Myspace, facebook & reverbnation pages just to name but a few
