While Ali Ladhani was dead on about the beauty of the female vocals and the way this concept has been done before, it didn't end up subtracting from the pleasure I took from listening to this. Reminding me of a more upbeat Mechanical Moth the album ebbs and flows around the vocals rather than the beats, it's worth your listen.

Perhaps the most outstanding element in Shattered Heart Reflections is the dominating female vocals. Although the idea on paper has been done a million times, the vocals are just spectacular; cutting right through everything and piercing the listener in unimaginable ways. Unfortunately, there are still those ideas on this album that have been done a million times and are simply thrown into the songwriting. This actually brings down the shining vocals, as they could have been utilized far more effectively.

Very good album! Very strong production and songwriting! Female vocals are very good and music is very clubby! Great producing by Vasi Vallis! One of the best albums this month!
