Haunting melodies... monumental piano work. but the remaining metal influences, the electric guitars and the black metal vocals mainly, sometimess dont seem to really fit the sound

Outstanding debut which sounded like nothing else, full of haunting waltzy piano arpeggios and violins, dance macabre theatrics with some rather uninspired black metal screams. This unique sound would peak a couple of years later, but this writing venture is very enjoyable even today.
