This is Pond's most consistent album for me. A perfect collection of psychedelic rock songs with no wasted notes, very little over-the-top bombast, yet still complex and endearing. Jay really knocks it out of the park with his keyboard work, the lyrics are thoughtful and compelling, and the guitars add a spectacularly subtle flair to the arrangements. There are very few bands out there with such an impressive run of albums, and 'Terrestrials' proves that Pond are still at the top of their game. Cheers.
