| 4.0 excellent | Raleighdoug | August 28th 10 | Some of the best instrumental music I've heard recently. While the songs do blur together sometimes, the musicianship is clearly top-notch and more importantly the music comes across as fun and original. The whole album feels organic-- it doesn't sound like a band trying to climb to the top of a genre, but rather like it sprouted out of some late night jam session.

| 5.0 classic | DannyDiz160 | November 1st 10 | This album is perfect from start to finish, the rhythms are tight, and the solo's are purely amazing. Levi/Werstler do a great job of blending their guitars during many of the songs. Every track plays off each other like one long track. I just gotta say the guitar work is genius.

| 4.0 excellent | iamthenightmare | April 29th 10 | One of the best metal instrumental projects, Levi/Werstler manage to keep their songs dynamic and interesting with their progressive and technically proficient guitar shredding in full display. Reinert delivers a powerful performance behind the kit to round out the lineup.

| 4.5 superb | BoovTheAlmighty | April 22nd 10 | Loving this so much, there is so much going on it makes you have an eargasm! The guitars are fantastic and it's Sean Reinert (Cynic, Death) on drums. Wonderful stuff.

| 0.0 | bloc | April 22nd 10 | When I listen to Daath, I always feel as if the guitars were holding back. Both guitarists attended the famous Musician's Institute yet when the time came to show off their skills in the form of Daath, I was a bit disappointed to hear standard metal. That all changes on Avalanche of Worms, as I was treated with instrumentals that used the most delicious and unique musical scales and tricks I could think off. Don't think this is all wank, because the album consists of equal parts solid riffing and great lead work. This album ranges from pure thrash all the way to entire songs that could be ripped off from a twisted carnival's soundtrack. Altogether, you are left with one hell of a guitar trip.
