We cannot say that these albums are three essential works to purchase from Oldfield. Despite the
good quality of the three, there are several other studio albums of his that deserve to be
purchased before these ones. The three albums represent a change in Oldfield's music from the
more prog works from his first musical phase with lengthy tracks to a more commercial phase with
shorter tracks. However, we cannot say that they are weak works. They still have many prog lines
and are an enjoyable listen to any prog fan.
