"Golden Collection" is a great Premiata Forneria Marconi's compilation that contains the three
first progressive studio albums of the band, because their debut studio work wasn't progressive.
It was a collection of short simpler songs with a psychedelic influence and 60's melodic music in
the same vein of "From Genesis To Revelation" from Genesis. It even was released under a
different band's name, Quelli. "Golden Collection" contains three of the best and most important
works, not only from Premiata Forneria Marconi or from the Italian prog but also from the
worldwide prog rock scene. "Golden Collection" is an interesting purchase, especially for those
who don't have yet the three original studio works of the band.
