There's been a rash of deftones-inspired shoegaze the last several plus years that really turn me off, however, this does not fall into that category. While still influenced by deftones, it's not another clone. This leans less into the post hardcore angst of some of those clone bands and embraces the dreamy, hazy feelings that makes it enjoyable
