| 2.5 average | Essence | February 13th 26 | first track is the high point of this rather forgettable, bland album

| 3.0 good | Kars Landman | February 1st 26 | It's been a long time since I've heard so much compression combined with an overproduced kick and
snare on a metal record, thought we were past this...

| 4.0 excellent | Ectier | February 1st 26 | An incredibly solid album and a good follow up to their last record A feast on Sorrow. Its
also got groooooove

| 2.5 average | Ferretmusic | January 31st 26 | I'm not jumping on the hype train. The album aims high, to the heights of gojira and mastodon (both in sound and notoriety): Setting Fire to the Sky may very succeed in putting their name on the metal map, it's got melodic passages, theatrical flair, huge choruses, and heavy riffs. It also doesn't stand above it's predecessors. I am missing the grit and grime of earlier works.
