100deadrabbits's Guardians is what you would expect from your typical run on the mil Grind band, but here's the kicker! They add video game sounds and an arsenal full of angry disgruted pig squeals !!!(please say you detected the sarcasm)
Ok...Time to be serious. Now if your looking for the next big thing thats going to resurrect the grind-core genre as we know it, then this is where you should STOP! Because 100deadrabbits album Guardians is not that album. If your looking for a typical grind album like the 200 you've probably heard prior to this but with a few more electronic sounds, then look no further my friends, your here.
Vocals-The vocals are completely uninspiring to say the least. There is nothing original about them even at all! Its you typical contorted, angry highs, with you grim, gross, putting puppies in a blending and turning it on high lows.
Guitars-There is nothing original or even slightly amusing about the guitarist in this album. Its the same, play the most evil sounding riffs as fast as humanly possible. If there going to try and break the land speed record with there hands then keep up the good work boys, but if your looking to make great, listenable music then you should probably stop while your way....way.....WAY behind.
Bass-Its a shame because i'm not even sure there is a bassist in this band. If it weren't for the band picture I saw of them then I wouldn't have been convinced there was even bass happening.
Drums-The drums are to say the least terrible...Keith Moon would roll over in his grave if he heard this. Most of the album if not all of it is all electric drums. You rarely here an actual drumset, its all electric, which raises the question....Do they actually have a drummer?
Electronics-Now this is were the album took a turn for the worst...I mean come on, excerts from Mario as an intro to a song!!! What has this world come to...I mean really, Halo cameo's mid way through a song!! I swear i'm going to have a corenary. The electronics were not only not amusing in any sort of way, but they were placed in the wrong spot EVERY time. Just when you think a song even has a slim chance of starting to get good here comes a "BOOM HEAD SHOT" and then the song is instantly joined with my gold fish from 5th grade

This album is everything that is wrong with the underground scene right now. Its grind(and we all know it takes a spectacular group of guys to make a stand in the grind scene now a days, which these guys are not.) Its so unoriginal and so.....boring its almost to much to stomach. Some people have made quite a living experimenting with diffrent genres. But mixing Grind, and electro....and FUCKING MARIO.....o my jesus fucking wept......
