Thought I?d like this more as I?m usually a sucker for deathrock, black metal and everything in between and I remember
liking the EP when it came out, but this all feels kinda gimmicky and bland to me. With that being said, there were
moments I liked more than others, like the more heavy metal oriented ?Chasing Shadows?, one of the better post-punk
centered songs “Mother Moon and The Astral Dawn” and the synth-heavy
darkwave track The Cosmic Darkness Calls Me Home. Will give a few more listens and see if it grows on me a lil?
