I honestly don't get why this album isn't getting more attention in the metalcore scene. Joel has
kept Aviana alive and keeps pushing their sound into a more refined, mature version of itself,
honestly their best to date. They're not pushing the metalcore wheel here but their blend is good
and most importantly, consistent with djent grooves, dark electronic textures, and a
heavier deathcore edge, which I loved. Joel's vocal range strikes a perfect balance
between emotive cleans and fierce growls. Now, this is usually the part where I pick a couple of
standout tracks, but that's tough because I genuinely enjoyed the entire album, which doesn't
happen often for me. If I had to choose, and this is me being nitpicky, Redroom and Heavenly
Spark take the win.
