Calling what this person makes "music" is a reddit-tier joke in and of itself, but endlessly interesting. The first time I came across her stuff I genuinely believed it was some form of low effort satire, but someone genuinely seems to believe that content like Sine Wave Solo is music and not mimicry of someone inputting random poke and peek commands into their old Apple II.
Somehow, she sees fit to continue making this stuff, and upon listen this is the same sort of stuff she made every other time.
I'm not really interested in arguing over what is and is not music - because it's readily apparent when you hear it. This is music, sure, in the most basic and primal sense. It's maybe as musical as the first time our evolutionary ancestors mixed in primate grunts with banging rocks together, but anything more advanced than that surpasses this in raw entertainment and philosophical value.Basically the "music" this woman makes is just inane noise.
So, to make everyone happy: It's music, but so is a corrupted mp3 of a chiptune remix that just sounds like noise. And the latter is a better experience since it won't hurt your ears while you listen.
