Ego has some of the best work of her career on it, but suffers from too much bloat. I know Hayley has made a point to stress that this isn't an actual "album," and I admit that it's a neat marketing strategy to engage fans and have them create their own tracklists. But the simple fact is that she could've created a stellar album if she had only just trimmed some of the fat.

Don't take the "Career-best work" note lightly - there's really some of her all-time best stuff present in this and, I think, it's her only whole body of work I enjoyed in full, instead of picking favorites.
