Energetic and anthemic indie rock with post punk folded into the mix. Beverly Kills does well to make their tracks both catchy and emotional while producing nice melody in the vocals, synth and guitars. Favorite moments are the uptempo opener, the belted vocals in the hook of 'Blush', the chill steady vibes of 'Wishing Well' and how the ender 'Marigold' somehow sounds like the curtains closing on the record. If anything the record is a bit samey but in the end they have a knack for fun, cutesy and emotional indie rock tracks that is super effective.
