Expression Direkt come from "the end of the world" (le bout du monde tu l'as mon gars) - ie Mantes-La-Jolie in the Parisian suburbs, where it's quite the hassle to come to the 75. They display this distance quite proudly, with hardcore texts but quite funky instrumentals influenced by g-funk - quite the cool change from the usual "90s NYC rap" pastiche that French rap was back then. A tad too long and inconsistent, but when they fully focus on delivering g-funk sweets, this bangs.
