Are their earlier albums pretty different? Sput band description says ambient/crust/black, but this album sounds just like mid-aughts As I Lay Dying and Unearth. Not that I mind; they executed that sound really well, and it's been long enough to be nostalgic for that era.

Nothing crazy experimental or hooky, but hits on pretty much all cylinders. One of the best releases of the year.

This band explores a range of styles from metalcore and grind to crust with each album leaning more heavily into one aspect or another. Between their heavier releases, they also put out ambient albums. They're quite versatile
