From the bands own admission this is basically aping Death, and from the riffs and melodic motifs to the vocal delivery it?s clear that really is what they aimed for. I dont blame people for taking notes from one of the greatest bands ever and trying to continue a legacy cut tragically short is a glorious goal. The problem is that thus far no one has ever been able to match the sheer ability of Chuck, and therefore any attempt tends to fall rather flat.
