As this was my first and only listen of Escape With Romeo, I thought this greatest hits compilation would be the most suitable way to judge the band. As soon as I got through the album, I was incredibly confused about what to label this band. Synthpop? Rock? Alternative? But with more listening, the label started to become meaningless and I realized just how good Escape With Romeo was. Poetic and thought provoking lyrics are the true stand out on History, especially on a track like The Godz Look Down On Us.
