| 4.5 superb | cjbizzlebizzle | July 24th 25 | Initial impressions of this witch house/emorap project were a sound somewhere around the worlds The Soft Moon and Bladee with the murky dark vibes of the latter and the energy and darkwave backing tracks of the former. All of that being said Ghost Mountain does enough here with the help of Semetary to create a unique and beautifully ethereal, atmospheric and sombre record. One of the keys here is the beats are both mysterious and atmospheric but still provide solid bass and rhythm to drive each song forward with high energy despite the depressed veils draped over the top. It isn't overly horror, dark or sad but in the end its in that realm and the careful mood created here works to compliment Ghost Mountains vocal delivery but not become the only focal point of the music. All of the songs are strong but the tip of the iceberg is Highway Hex, Kevlar and Familiar Strangers.

| 3.5 great | Erwann S. EMERITUS | March 17th 25 | Ghost Mountain's debut tape (he mostly was known for collab tapes with modern witch house king, Sematary) of course features slowed-down muddy synths sweeping over some trap beats and echoed emo vocals. Kinda monochrome but undeniably well-done within its niche genre.
