| 1.5 very poor | Isley Browne | May 30th 25 | Annoying, pretentious, enabling pedophilia with every part of it's marketing, one of the worst releases I've heard this year. Having enjoyed some of CSH's output, it's not a surprise that this style doesn't fit them. He thinks doing some piano concept album thing would work but it ended up like anything else he's done but extra flashy. There's nothing glamorous about CSH, so this is a huge failure. He makes songs about dating male deviantart cub-porn artists, animal roleplaying and zoophile fantasies. I can see how he could think this is something to display with grandeur as some glorious art piece of a career, due to how much money and fame he's gotten from it, but this is the type of thing you croon about. Not ignite fireworks and explosives blasting over hundreds of marshall stacks, wearing skinsuits playing double neck flying V guitars. Fuck this shit.

| 3.4 great | Erwann S. EMERITUS | May 7th 25 | Epic suite with Car Seat Headrest's classic lo-fi atours, but it at times felt a bit too much like a juxtaposition of ideas than bona fide songs.

| 4.5 superb | Sowing STAFF | May 2nd 25 | Never cared much for this band despite listening to a few of their albums, but this release will have me re-assessing their entire catalog. This is downright phenomenal. First major player in the 2025 AOTY race has arrived for me.
