Niechec once again prove why they're one of the most electrifying forces in modern jazz. Truth be told, Reckless Things doesn't reinvent their formula - it's still a fusion of noir-drenched tension, feverish improvisation, and rock-infused urgency. The atonal sax also still commands attention, twisting through compositions that feel both meticulously structured and on the verge of chaos. But what truly stands out is how effortlessly the band navigates between tight grooves and freeform madness. Poland always was a primary force within European jazz, and Niechec further prove that.
