The only album from Different Teep features good flows and punchlines by all three rappers (although Manu Key is the best one), but what really makes this one a significant foray into 90s French hip hop is DJ Mehdi's (RIP) production. His soulful sampling elevates some of these beats to the idealistic vision of 90s boom bap ("Maintenant ou jamais", "Vies", "Realite").
