Going through the deliberately monotonous, almost tone deaf, blackened punk of the first half of this album was such a drag during the first few listens, I was ready to bury the album if it went that way as a whole, but things get very interesting in the second half, as the arrangements shift to recurring themes of noisy, partly industrialized ambience. So if the first half is a generous 2.5 and the second a solid 3.5, the result is... PS: turns out, the album is a grower, and the current "good" rating is merely a placeholder...
