| 3.5 great | Antonius | February 8th 25 | This album was my introduction to the world of Robin Trower, the guitarist behind Procol Harum's first four albums. Trower?s Strat tones are deliciously inventive and mesmerizing, with slow-burn wah-wah squalls and perfectly executed bends. Behind the mic for this album is his longtime band member and fellow Englishman Richard Watts, who brings a gravel-voiced, soulful tinge. The closing 'I Will Always Be Your Shelter' is probably the peak of their collaboration here. This is a laid-back, atmospheric album with no particular stand-out tracks but rather a qualitative, homogeneous, end result. Recommendations: "I Will Always be Your Shelter","Ball of Fire", "Deadly Kiss", "Birdsong".
