This release by Tim Montana is anything else but country rock. Combining hard riffs and hooky choruses, the music in Savage is a crossover between hard rock and post-grunge. 'Die Today', 'Shut Me Out' and 'Get You Some' recall bands such as Staind and Seether from the early 2000s, while the opener 'Devil You Know' and title track 'Savage' with their anthemic sing along choruses are perfect for radio play. From the second half, the track that stands out is "Ain't Comin' Down' with a 90s grungy, Alice In Chains, style. Recommendations: "Die Today", "Devil You Know", "Ain't Coming Down", "Savage"
