When Bad Bunny focuses on delivering modern Caribbean bangers, this slaps. When he goes back to his traditional reggaeton offering, it's much less exciting.

it's okay, I want to revisit this later and see if I can absorb it more. This isn't a genre I normally listen to, so I'll give it more time to grow on me.

Comes out swinging with the first three tracks which all combine and feel like an extended work that summarizes Bad Bunny's vision for this record. After that the album is quite good but is definitely more of an up and down affair. At it's best the record is an upbeat blend of Reggaetón and Caribbean Music that has a soulful feel and brings plenty of energy. It just feels like it wanders a bit too much and could be about 10 minutes shorter. I will forever be happy when I hear 'NUEVAYoL' shuffle on in the future.
