What a fantastic album. Though not quite as infectiously crazy as their prior output, this is a really fun, varied, impressive, downright enjoyable experience, paying off dividends for time spent relistening, and it further cements Ungfell as a reliable source of folky-black metal goodness.

just as good as the previous album, albeit maybe slightly less fun? The kick drum still
rattles my skull with that trademark thunderous THUMP, so I'm happy.
