About as hostile and difficult to nail down as the cover suggests. Razor sharp edges of angular instrumentals, all purposefully painting a picture that is all negativity. No saving grace of dynamic hooks or even a notion of a melody, Open Head demand filthy granular dysrhythmia, messy interplay, halfway confidence and some frustrating progressions that seem to often refuse to arrive at the point they have set out to find.
