In an apparent effort to pursue mental prophylactics and self-care Alan makes a collection of spur-of-the-moment ideas and single session beats to clear his head and be as distant and impersonal to his previous project Low. The result is, well, distant and impersonal, though that is achieved entirely at pain of the most horrid vocal effect known to music, rendering the bulk of this album unlistenable, no matter how dynamic the actual beats.
