'Always got my ass out, always let my titties show. When I'm in the gym, I think 'bout bitches that I'm shittin' on' is a great summary for 'MEGAN'. The record starts pissed off and stays like that for much of it and that attitude combined with the personality displayed in the rapping and lyrics brings the project to the next level. Beyond 'HISS', favorite moments are the hook and simple yet groovy beat in 'Rattle', the bass in 'Figueroa', all of 'BOA', and the exchanges with Glo-Rilla in 'Accent'. The second half of the record is definitely weaker than the first half but there are enough nice tracks here to keep this one an easy one to replay a bunch.

Thee Stallion gets a bit more personal, a bit less poppy, adds some grittiness to an already gritty formula, and further dives into her southern influences. That's very cool, but I can't help but feel this could have been more of a step forward than it actually is.

Megan is a capable rapper as she's proven on some of her previous projects but this record really showcases a sort of lack of desire to grow in terms of lyrical abilities and flows as well as lacking any sort of experimentation with beats and sonic textures barring the last three tracks which feel extremely out of place and tacked onto a finished product.
