Yamaoka fell off so hard. He used to have such a distinct sound, then you listen to a lot of the later Silent Hill OSTs, and the magic is missing. The new material in the Silent Hill remake trailers cements this for me

A soundtrack that manages to be longer than the actual game itself. There are a handful excellent standout tracks throughout the 3 hour runtime, but I don't feel like it reaches the same heights of previous tracks. That said the score was probably the best thing about this game.
